XF fic recs (slash)

Alley Trap by AnneZo *
Krycek/Mulder
http://annezo.net/fiction/ALLEY.html
Short.
This is what a PWP should be, short, sweet, and hot, although I take issue with Mulder being caught as easily as he is here; my Mulder is a bit tougher than AnneZo’s.

One Night by AnneZo *
Krycek/Mulder (NC-17)
http://annezo.net/fiction/ONE_NIGHT.html
Short.
This is a very hot fic, Mulder in chains, mmm, but it’s also non-con, and the characters aren’t developed well enough to justify the non-con element.  Be prepared to feel a little disturbed, not at the kinkyness (it’s not actually that kinky), but at how easily the author smooths everything out at the end.  I don’t think that non-con should be that easy.

Missing Scene from SR819 by Awena *
Krycek/Mulder (NC-17)
http://basement.ditb.org/archive/3/awenamissingsce032101.shtml
Summary: Once again, Mulder finds himself in a tight situation.
V. Short.
Similar to Alley Trap, this is slightly more explicit, but suffers from the same problem.  How does a one armed man, even if he is an assassin, overpower an FBI agent so easily?

A Cat Tale by Cody Nelson
Krycek/Mulder (PG)
http://www.squidge.org/~vyper/PhantasyFiles/fics/ACatsTale.txt
Summary: An experiment goes awry, Mulder gets a pet, and Krycek gets an arm.
Short.
This is a little cutesy for my taste, but Alex-the-cat is appealing, and as a bonus he gets his arm back.

RESTITUTION
by Cody Nelson <codyne@netwizards.net>
Rated NC17 for explicit m/m sex.
Summary: Krycek comes back from Russia to pay some debts.
Follows "Patient X"/"The Red and the Black."

Resurrection by Cody Nelson

A Rat Tale by debchan **
Krycek/Mulder (R)
http://debchan.com/index.html
Summary: Alex can't sleep. In lieu of a teddy bear, a fuzzy blankie and a glass of warm milk, Mulder tells him a bedtime story.
Short.
This is another story with a literary reference, but the reference is so prevalent (the story is basically a rewrite of Kipling’s A Cat Tale), that you should read the original before you read this.  Very, very clever.
debchan's website it down, and not likely to be up again anytime soon.  She will probably post her fic to her livejournal eventually.
http://debchan.livejournal.com/

In the Aftermath by debchan *
Krycek/Mulder (PG-13)
http://debchan.com/index.html
Summary: When everything's over.
Short.
This is the way I want the show to have ended, with a bit of sadness, but also a sense of peace, and with Krycek of course.
debchan's website it down, and not likely to be up again anytime soon.  She will probably post her fic to her livejournal eventually.

More by debchan ***
Krycek/Mulder (R)
http://debchan.com/xf/more.html
Summary: Alex at Christmas
Short.
Facinating little vingette that is tinged with sadness.  Great characterization of the Well-Manicured Man.
debchan's website it down, and not likely to be up again anytime soon.  She will probably post her fic to her livejournal eventually.

No Return Policy by GenieVB *
Krycek/Mulder (NC-17)
http://www.squidge.org/basement/archive/7/genievbnoreturnpo017901.shtml
Summary: Mulder trades something for something and learns something about himself!
Midlength.
The language is a little coarse, but this little story sure packs a punch if you like semi non-con.  The sequel is even better, and very sad.

Red Tape by Hattie **
Krycek/Mulder (NC-17)
http://allthingsrat.ditb.org/stories/hattie/red_tape.html
Short.
Krycek and Mulder in a library.  This is incredibly hot.

The Same Everywhere By Jane Mortimer
The Hand We Were Dealt
http://members.aol.com/janemort/

Truth or Dare by Jane Mortimer **
Krycek/Mulder
http://basement.ditb.org/archive/10/janemortimtruthordar098001.shtml
Short.
Jane’d inner-Mulder dialogue cracks me up, and her Krycek is delightfully manipulative, but in a good way.

Uneasy Rider by Jennie and Ursula *
Krycek/Mulder (NC-17)
http://www.fhsarchive.com/jennie/Uneasy.html
Short.
This story is more notable for its humor than for its sex.  The best part is the idea of tarring and foam-rubbering.

Aporia by Kest **
Krycek/Mulder
http://www.sockiipress.org/~kestrelsan/AporiaRev.html
Short.
A strange dreamy little story about the end of the world.  Beautifully written.

Servicing all the Mulders by KMS!
http://basement.ditb.org/cgi-bin/convert.cgi?filename=13/kmsservicinga098801.shtml&wraplen=75

In Hot Water by moco
http://www.squidge.org/terma/moco/water.htm

The Rape by moco ***
Krycek/Mulder (NC-17)
http://slashingmulder.com/Date/November00/week2/TheRape01_moco.htm
Summary: Krycek finds a way to take what he wants.
Long.
One of my favorite stories, and one that hurts me, because it’s so painful, and what hope there is, is so very, very little.  Krycek is raping Mulder, but the question to ask is why he’s doing it.  This story has a killer ending.  Be prepared to cry.

The Tale Of One Bad Rat by Mort
M/K, K/Sc
http://basement.ditb.org/archive/38/thetale.shtml

mercy by Pares
http://basement.ditb.org/cgi-bin/convert.cgi?filename=17/paresmercyithru085401.shtml&wraplen=75

Lavender And Lye
by Pares and Te
10/98
Disclaimers: Not ours, and it makes us very sad indeed.
Spoilers: Little ones for Sleepless, Fire, and Tunguska. This takes place somewhere in the midst of all that missing time between airport and gulag.
Summary: Mulder and Alex play a game.
Ratings Note: NC-17 for poor language and smut.

Angels by Sleeps With Coyotes
Category:  M/K slash
Rating:  NC-17 for m/m sex, language
Disclaimer:  And the Lord did say unto the Coyote, BAD DOG, FOR THESE DO NOT BELONG TO YOU, THEY BELONG TO MY CHOSEN PROPHET, CHRIS CARTER.  And the Coyote did grin, and say, "Hey, Big Guy, I'm just borrowing them, see..."  And the Lord did reply, TELL IT UNTO THE JUDGE, SMARTASS.

Blood, Love and Rhetoric by Sleeps With Coyotes *
Krycek/Mulder (NC-17)
http://ciceqi.slashcity.com/BLR.htm
Long.
A classic story of misinformation, with a twist.  Krycek thinks that Mulder is a masochist, so he gives him what he wants; Mulder thinks that Krycek is a sadist, so he gives him what he wants.  This is the kind of story that hurts (and it’s supposed to, remember? ‘Blood is compulsory . . .’) and it stayed with me for a long time after I had read it.
Breathless
Summary: While Mulder investigates an X-File, Krycek tracks down a runner - but when the two collide, can Mulder and Krycek work through the past and learn to work together?
sequel is Solidarity
Summary: Krycek ditches Mulder to take an assignment that lands him in the center of the game, but when Mulder is asked to assist a profiler in the same area, the trail leads him into the mountains towards a terrifying secret...
Drinking With the Enemy
Summary: Vague speculation and complete silliness and the proper way to do tequila shooters.
Inertia series
Summary: The night before Scully's kidnapping, Krycek distracts himself with a little mood music...
La Partance by Sleeps With Coyotes
Category:  implied M/K, angst
Rating:  G
Disclaimer:  not mine, and they're lighting a candle to CC in thanks.
Spoilers:  Tunguska, Terma, S.R. 819
Warnings:  death of a minor character.  Nasty implications for a truly Shakespearean body count.  Depressorama.
Summary:  some souvenirs of the War cost more than others.
Notes:  Leonid Andreyev is God, and Charles Lefebvre is his chosen prophet.  This one can be blamed on reading Andreyev's "The Seven That Were Hanged" before going to sleep, the dream that followed, and listening to Lefebvre's version of the song "La Partance" for the past twenty-four hours straight.
http://ciceqi.slashcity.com/
Mad Dogs series
Summary: There's a reason why Krycek always comes back for more...
Possession by Sleeps With Coyotes ***
Krycek/Mulder (NC-17)
http://ciceqi.slashcity.com/
Summary:  Oilien Nation.  Krycek got what he wanted; can he get what he needs?  And what is it with Mulder, anyway?
Short.
Anything that references literature is going to grab me.  This fic does so to advance the plot of the story, and is beautifully written to boot.  Warning: you’ll probably be hooked on Chinchikov and Gogol as well as on Sleeps With Coyotes by the time you finish this fic.  It has two prequels, The Uplifted and Martingale, both of which are interesting, but neither as good as Possession.
Promise by Sleeps With Coyotes
Category: M/K slash
Rating: PG-13 for implied m/m, language, messy rooms.  REALLY messy rooms.
http://allthingsrat.ditb.org/stories/ladonna_king/promise.html
Responsibility
Summary: Alex is given one last job by his English employer: the disposal of a very battered piece of merchandise.
The Waking by Sleeps With Coyotes
Category: M/K slash
Rating: PG for implied m/m affection
Disclaimer: When I was younger, so much younger than today / I never messed with anybody's rights in any way / But now those days are gone, I'm not so picky, me / And now I've found I like this slash, so please don't tell CC...
Notes: This story comes from a poem sent to me by Cythorn for the Open Invitational challenge.  All poem quotes from "O, Thou Opening, O" by Theodore Roethke, from _The Waking_.  Questionable canon--Mulder goes up in a ship, an evil ship, and things happen from there.  Probably won't have anything to do with whatever season we're on.  I'm not too worried about it, though, heh...
Summary: Alex learns a few things while Mulder's away.

Curtains by Sylvia ***
Krycek/Mulder (PG)
http://strangeplaces.net/sylvia/Curtains.htm
Summary: A tale of draperies. In which the ambitious and up-and-coming young assassin Alexander Krycek strives to improve his life by instructive maxims, is termed Alyosha-love with questionable veracity but without major bodily harm being inflicted, goes shopping for curtains, and has a roll in the draperies with Special Agent Fox William Mulder of the FBI. Uncomplimentary sentiments are uttered, among others concerning the arteries of senior citizens, shop assistants with big hair, klutzy and inconvenient law enforcement personnel, and cheap doped-up killers who make it all but impossible for true craftpersons to make a dishonest living.
Short.
One of the funniest XF stories I’ve ever read, certainly the funniest XF slash story, and it has plot, at least a little of it, and plausibility.  Alex goes shopping for curtains.

Deliverance by Sylvia **
Krycek/Mulder
http://strangeplaces.net/sylvia/Deliver.htm
Short.
Kind of creepy, but in the good I’m-not-going-to-spoil-it-for-you way.  Mulder finds something left behind in one of the Consortium’s laboratories.

The Gift of an Enemy by Sylvia
http://strangeplaces.net/sylvia/Gift/Gift1.htm

Nighttime Visitors by Sylvia
http://strangeplaces.net/sylvia/Nighttime.htm

Partners by Sylvia
http://www.squidge.org/terma/sylvia/partners.htm

Walking Shadow by Sylvia
http://www.squidge.org/terma/sylvia/shadow.htm

Ghosts by torch ***
http://strangeplaces.net/torch/
Krycek/Mulder
Long.
The best slash story in the fandom.  torch has a gift for writing intriguing plots and realistic emotional reactions.  Her characterization of Krycek is my favorite.  The sequel, not as good but well worth reading, is Lovers.

Hard As Hell
(c) torch, May 1998
flambeau@strangeplaces.net
http://strangeplaces.net/torch/
M/K
Rated NC-17

In the bleak midwinter by torch **
http://strangeplaces.net/torch/
Krycek/Mulder
Short.
One of the most depressing futurefics I’ve ever read, and bizarrely, amazingly, good.  Deathfic.

24 HOUR LIVE BAIT by Viridian5 **
Krycek/Mulder (R)
http://viridian.shriftweb.org
Summary: While being held captive, what would you do to break free?
Short.
Facinatingly ambiguous, and really hot.  The Krycek shown here is more dangerous than the one in the show, but he has an unexpected soft spot.

Beguiled by Viridian5 *
Krycek/Mulder (R)
http://viridian.shriftweb.org
Summary: Mulder tries to get his bearings, and Krycek's not helping.
Short.
This is a gentle, and slightly humorous take on the Krycek/Mulder dynamic, it’s also actually plausible.

By the Hand of Providence by Viridian5 *
Krycek/Mulder (R)
http://viridian.shriftweb.org
Summary: When Mulder's luck really goes bad, Krycek intervenes in his own inimitable way.
Short.
Humor, and an actual X-File.  This has the feel of some of the more humorous episodes.

Focused by Viridian5 **
Krycek/Mulder (R)
http://viridian.shriftweb.org
Summary: Krycek goes after something he wants with his usual intensity.
V. Short.
I’ve read a lot of stories, some of them good ones, that overplay Krycek’s abilities.  I like to overplay them a bit myself, and Viridian5 exaggerates that in Focused.

Title: Sleep & Tackle
Author: Zoe Takashi (zoe.t@att.net) and Loren Q (loren.q@att.net)

Fandom: X-Files
Pairing: M/K
Rating: NC-17 for male/male sex.
Status: New, complete.
Archive: Basement, RatB, Slashville, CKoS, SlashingMulder, all others please ask.
Spoilers: Cannon through 'The Beginning'
Summary: An offer, a road trip, a file. Peppered with lots of neurotic behavior.
